Obituary

Graveside services for Willie "Pinky" Anderson, 87, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 1997 in the Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. H.L. Phillips and the Rev. Curtis Sanders officiating.

Burial was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Mr. Anderson died at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1997, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following an illness.

He was born Nov. 17, 1909, in Whitney. He married Stella Williams on Dec. 12, 1983, in Dickens. He was a farmer and a member of the Galilee Baptist Church. He moved to Crosbyton March 3, 1977.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Ray, died in 1985.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Julius Anderson of Whitney; a daughter, Marie of Fort Worth; numerous grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
