Funeral services for William Samuel Alldredge, 71, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Primitive Baptist Church. Elder Jesse Bass of Austin, assisted by Elder Dennis Taylor, officiated.
Alldredge, a retired farmer, died at 10 p.m. Thursday in a Lubbock Hospital. Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
He was born in Falls County in East Central Texas. Most of his life was spent in Crosby and Dickens counties.
Survivors include his wife, Stella; three daughters, Mrs. Thedford Fry, Spur; Mrs. Charlie Hudson, Channing; and Mrs. Donald Gowens, Crosbyton; three sons, Marshall Alldredge, Georgetown; Walker Alldredge, Washington, DC; and Max Alldredge, Spur; his mother, Mrs. G.W. Alldredge, Crosbyton; four sisters, Mrs. Drucilla Spivey, Mrs. W. W. Barrington, and Mrs. Nora Livingston all of Crosbyton, and Mrs. Jesse Bass, Austin; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services for Katy Estella Alldredge, 90, of Crosbyton will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Crosbyton Primitive Baptist Church with Elder George Johnson and Elder Joe Jackson officiating.
Burial will be in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died at 5:35 a.m. Thursday in the Crosbyton Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Bell County. She married William S. Alldredge in 1913 in Mount Olive. He died in 1962. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. She moved to Crosby County in 1932 and to Crosbyton in 1960.
Survivors include three sons: Marshall of Crosbyton, Walker of Melbourne, FL., and Max of Spur; three daughters, Oleta L. Fry of Spur, Wilma Gowens of Floydada, and Veta M. Parker of Gainesville; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
