Funeral Services Held Wednesday: Old Court Is Pall BearersL. W. Tomlinson, 65, former county commissioner, died Tuesday morning at the family home near Cone. Mr. Tomlinson had been ill since the first of the year. Funeral services were donducted Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, and burial was in the Cone cemetery.
Born in Chambers county, Ala. Mr. Tomlinson had lived in this county since 1909. His widow and a daughter, Gladys, survive. Mr. Tomlinson was commissioner of the county for three terms, retiring last year, and was active in civic affairs and had retired from farming work.
The Old Commissioner's Court, of which Mr. Tomlinson was a member, were active pall bearers, composed of Amos Ellison, Judge Edgar Hutchins, of Crosbyton; R.L. Tarvis and T.H. Holmes, of Ralls, and Edgar Allen, then district clerk.
Elder T.A. Dunn of Crosbyton preached the funeral, and R. L. Travis made a short talk.

Funeral services for Mrs. Naomi (Sue) Tomlinson, 87, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Cone First Baptist Church. Mr. W.R. Dale, Lubbock minister, officiated. Burial was in Cone Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tomlinson died about 10 a.m. Sunday in Ralls Convalescent Home following a lengthy illness. A native of Randolph County, Ala., she moved to Crosby County in 1910 coming here from Bell County.
Survivors include a daughter Miss Gladys Tomlinson, and a brother, Elbert Harris, both of Ralls, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Reed, Amarillo.
