Carl C. Seidel Killed Instantly By Harrow
Carl G. Seidel was instantly killed Thursday of last week on the farm of his half-brother, E. Schneider, six miles west of Cone when a team ran away with a disc harrow with which he was plowing. An inquest was held by the Justice of the Peace of Lorenzo, who rendered a coroner's verdict of accidental death.
Mr. Seidel was sixty-one years of age, a native of Germany, and had been in Crosby county only about 16 months, having moved here from the state of Arkansas.
Interment occurred Friday afternoon at the Cone cemetery, a large number of neighbors' and friends gathering to pay respects to the deceased who was a good citizen in every respect.
The Banner joins in extending condolence to the bereaved family.
