Picture of Charles RobertsonU.S.Flag   Services for Charles Edward Robertson, 58, of Lubbock were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 1998, in the Rix Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Archie Hall, officiating.

Burial was in the Cone Cemetery in Cone under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.

Robertson died Monday, May 25, 1998, at St. Mary Hospital.

He married Sue Cannon in 1964 in Mayfield. He graduated from Ralls High School in 1957. He was an engineer technician for the city of Lubbock for three years. Before working for the city, he worked for Myers Corporation as gold course construction foreman for 10 years. He also worked for Pioneer Natural Gas for 10 years.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous for almost 20 years.

Survivors include two sons, Clyde and Tharin, both of Haltom City; two daughters, Karen Bruce of Hurst and Joann Phillips of Haltom City; four grandchildren; a brother, Authur Dale "Zeke" Robertson of Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Rita Pierce of Floydada, Helen Robertson of Naples and Jean Richards of Hemphill.
