RALLS (Special) — Services for Ada Powell, 77, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church here with Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating.

Burial will be in Cone Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Powell died at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at her home. Ralls Justice of the Peace W.E. Easter ruled the cause of death as natural causes.

She married Authur Powell on March 5, 1922, in Floydada. She was a native of Crosby County and lived here all of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church and taught Sunday School classes for 25 years. She was a member of Ralls Eastern Star Chapter 169. She worked in Ralls departments stores for 35 years.

Survivors include two sons, Louis and Gerrold, both of Ralls; one daughter, Mrs. Elvin Evatt of Ralls; five sisters, Beulah Foster, Lillian Ross and Mrs. B.F. Priddy, all of Ralls, Luch Caldwell and Alice Morrow, both of Amarillo; and five grandchildren.
