RALLS (Special) — Henry R. Nance, 86, of Cone near Ralls, died late Wednesday in Methodist Hospital after a brief illness.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today in the Primitive Baptist Church in Floydada with L.M. Handley of Crosbyton, James Eubank of Ralls and the Rev. John Stout of Grady, NM, officiating. Burial will be in the Cone Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home of Ralls.

Nance was a native of Hill County. He had resided in Crosby County since 1925, moving from Hamilton County. He was a retired blacksmith.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa; a son, Ellis of Cope, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Jackson of Cone, Miss Rachel Nance of Cone and Mrs. Clarence Verrett of Ralls; two brothers, J.W. of Tulare, Calif., and W.J. of Jacksonville; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
