Graveside services for Urbano Morin, 66, of Cone were Friday, June 2, 2000, at 10 a.m. at Cone Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died May 31, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born June 15, 1933, in Rio Grande City.
He married Catarina Mata on June 9, 1981, in Rio Grande City.
He was a farmer and worked for Pleasant Hill Gin. He had formerly worked for Lloyd Gregory for several years. He moved to the Cone area in 1977 from Rio Grande City.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Marie Elena Morin in June of 1977.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Urbano, Jr. and Carlos of Edinburg, Juan M. and Robert M. of Cone; a brother, Ramond Morin of Edinburg; a sister, Dominga Jasso of San Juan; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
