Biography

William Garrison Hennington is the son of Rev. John Hennington and Ann Clement. He was born on 19 September 1837 in Crystal Springs, Copiah County, Mississippi in 1838. On 10 August 1860, he married Catherine Cornelia Slay in Crystal Springs, Copiah County, Mississippi. She was born on 18 September 1845 in Sumter County, Alabama and died in Siloam Springs, Benton County, Arkansas. Her parents were William Sidney Slay and Honor Futch. William passed away on 2 February 1919 in Cone, Crosby County, Texas.

William and Catherine were the parents of 12 children:
