RALLS (Special)— Services for Luis Cantu, 82, of Cone will be at 3 p.m. today at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. Leonardo Pahamtang officiating.

Burial will be in Cone Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999, at Crosbyton Hospital.

He was born Nov. 1, 1917, in Liners, Mexico. He married Ramona Garcia in May 1936, in Edinburg. He moved to Cone from Lockney in 1959. He was a farmer and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Ismael Cantu in 1992.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Augustine of Crosbyton, Juan of Lubbock and Antonio of Cone; a sister, Lupe Luna of Houston; three brothers, Juan and Henry, both of Mission and Jesus of Bakersfield, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Ramona Cantu, 84, of Cone, were at 10 a.m. on March 13, 2000, at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. Leonardo Pahamtang officiating.

Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2000, at the same church and same officiant.

Burial was in Cone Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

She died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Floydada Rehabilitation and Care Center.

She was born Sept. 1, 1915, in San Diego, TX.

She married Luis Cantu in May of 1936, in Edinburgh, TX. He died on November 23, 1999.

She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She moved to Cone in 1959 from Lockney.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ismael Cantu in 1992.

Survivors include three sons, Augustine Cantu, of Crosbyton, Juan Cantu, of Lubbock, Antonio Cantu, of Cone; one brother, Manuel Garcia, of California; two sisters, Matilda Cantu, of Indio, CA, Lupe Solazano, of Fort Worth; 16 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were her grandsons.
