Mrs. R.S.[sic F.] Blassingame passed away Thursday of last week at the family home three miles west of Cone at the age of 66 years, 2 month and 20 days. Funeral services were held Friday at the home, interment occurring in Cone Cemetery, the Rev. Mr. Brown officiating. Marr Furniture Company of Ralls, directed the funeral.
The Blassingame family has resided in thsi county for many years and are numbered among our best people. Mrs. Blassingame was a fine character, a loving mother and wife and citizen who could be depended upon to always stand for the right. The husband, children and other near relatives have the sympathy of all the people of this community in the loss of their best friend, the wife and mother.Published Crosbyton Review, submitted by Grace Ashley
