Services for Lee Williams, 65, of Lorenzo were Saturday at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. J.V. Harris, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home. Masonic graveside services were held.
Williams died at 10 p.m. Wednesday at his residence. A native of Crockett, he had lived in Lorenzo since 1941. He is a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie; a son, Frank of Lorenzo; two brothers, Albert of Crockett and Jim of Pendleton; a sister, Mrs. Lucy Carter of Hobbs, NM.

LORENZO (Special) Services for Bessie Leah Williams, 73, of Lorenzo will be 2:30 p.m. Monday in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Lorenzo. Officiating will be the Rev. Clarence Brown, pastor of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, with the Rev. Johnny Ray Watson, a Baptist minister, assisting.
Burial will be in Lorenzo West Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Williams died Friday afternoon in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.
The Temple native was a retired schoolteacher. She married Lee Williams Sept. 20, 1943, in Lorenzo. He died Oct. 10, 1973.
She moved to Lorenzo from Waco 44 years ago.
