Services for Robert Quinn Turner, 70, of Lorenzo will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lorenzo with the Rev. Charles Hankson and the Rev. Leonard Chatham officiating. Burial will be in West Side Cemetery in Lorenzo under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.

Mr. Turner passed away Monday, February 28, 2005 at his home in Lorenzo.

He was born May 16, 1934 in Navarro County, Texas.

He moved to Lorenzo three years ago from New York City and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lorenzo.

He is survived by three sons; Dennis Love and Robert Ringo Turner both of Lubbock, Monty Ford of Bronx, New York, and a daughter; Debra "Sissy" Turner of Lubbock, his mother; Carrie Jackson of Lorenzo, a brother; Edmond Turner, Sr. of Lubbock, two sisters; Emma Chatham of Lubbock and Magic Langston of Lorenzo, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Billy Ray Lawson, Sid Gonzales, Willie Anderson, Bobby Lawson, Tommy Lawson, Mose Lawson and David Lawson.
