Obituary

Jessie Silmon of Crosbyton was claimed by death at approximately 5:15 a.m. Friday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a prolonged illness.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Zion Cemetery here with the Rev. Frank Williams officiating.

Adams Funeral Home directed arrangements.

Mr. Silmon moved to Crosbyton in May 1978 from Dimmitt. He was a native of Texarkana, Ark.

Survivors include a daughter, Hazel Douglas of Garland; two sisters, Esther Hunt of Lawton, Okla., and Mary Beacham of Crosbyton.
