James Scott Photo LORENZO (Special) — Services for James Scott Sr., 87, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Hankston, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under direction of Curry Funeral Home.

Scott died at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 1994, in Methodist Hospital.

He was born in La Grange. He moved to Lubbock from Lorenzo in 1960.

Survivors include a son, Willie Garland of Lubbock; two daughters, Dorothy Cooper and Alice Toliver, both of Lubbock; two brothers, Sam Scott of Lenapah, Okla., and Jessie Scott of Coffeeville, Kan.; three sisters, L.C. of Sundown and Kelly of Odessa; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren
