Frankie Lee Stewart Fennels LUBBOCK-Frankie Lee Stewart Fennels, 80, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on Jan. 11, 2015. Frankie was born on May 1, 1934, to the parentage of Thomas and Martha Tillis Stewart. Frankie married at an early age to Billy F. Lawson in 1950. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and friend. Her life and legacy will live on through her family and close friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Thomas and Martha Tillis Stewart; daughter, Wanda K. Anderson; two sons, Ronnie Lawson and King John Lawson; her first husband, Billy F. Lawson; and four sisters. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Nathan Fennels; brother, Arthur Pete Stewart (Kathy); sister, Eva Coleman; daughters, Betty Anderson (Charles), Susie Carrington (Dale), Evelyn McBride (Jarvis); sons, Billy R. Lawson (Annie), Bobby R. Lawson (Rosie), Richard Lawson, Derrell Lawson (Jimmie) and Tommie Lawson; 24 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Celebration of life services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Lorenzo, Texas. Interment will follow in the Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held today, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary.
