LORENZO (Special) — Memorial services for Robert Lee Byers, 49, of Detroit, Mich., will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Hankson, pastor, officiating.
Private burial will be directed by Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Byers died June 9 at his residence.
He was born in Crosby County and was a landscaper.
Survivors include his parents, Joe Willie and Bessie Mae Byers of Lorenzo; four brothers, Willie J. of Canyon, Gene E. of Amarillo, Rayford J. of Lawton, Okla., and James R. of Abilene; a half-brother, Emerson E. of Amarillo; and five sisters, Charlene Watson, Betty Jones and Dorothy Gonzales, all of Lorenzo, JoAnn Hearn of Los Angeles, Calif., and Frances Eddins of Lubbock.
