LORENZO (Special)— Services for John Arthur Brown, 68, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Hankson officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
He died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at Parkway Manor Care Center.
He was born March 31, 1931, in Milam County. He married Mary Liston. She died in 1994. He was a farmer and a member of St. Mary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Arthur of La Marque; a daughter, Brenda K. Dixon of Beaumont; eight brothers, Freddie Lee and Frank Glen, both of Slaton, Lester Charles, Carl Edward, Albert and Joe Willie, all of Lubbock and Leonard of Plano; a sister, Rose Hankson of Slaton; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
