TAYLOR

Mary Maunu February 13, 2009

Looking for information on George Badger Taylor killed by an assassin on Aug 15, 1884 at Beaver Lake in Crockett County Texas. He was born in NY in 1840 and is listed in the 1880 census as living in Bandera, Texas.

A book written in 1899 has the Taylor family history and this is where I found the reference to his death. Another Taylor descendant had in his history that his brothers murdered him.  Any info is appreciated.

Could you make a Query for me concerning the Carmichael-Perner Mercantile that was owned by Phil Perner and partner Mr. Carmichael? The store was established in Ozona in 1893.  It burned down in 1926. There were also other Carmichael-Perner Mercantile stores in Bandera and Sanderson. Possibly one in Ft. Stockton. Phil Perner was my Great-granddad. Any information on the stores and Mr. Carmichael and people that worked for them would be interesting to include in our family history.
