Victor E. Mikeska
Services for Victor E. Mikeska, 67, of Mereta route, were held at 3 P. M. Saturday at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Reinhard Vuensch, pastor of Mount Calvery Lutheran Church of Eola, officiating.  Burial was in Eola Cemetery.  

Mr. Mikeska died 10:00 A. M. Thursday in Shannon Hospital.  

Mr. Mikeska was born July 29, 1910 in Eola and was a paint contractor.  He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mikeska of Eola.  

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Annie Garrett of Paint Rock, Mrs. Matilda Eldridge of San Angelo and Mrs. Milady Ker of Eola; four brothers, Bryan Mikeska of Andrews, Walter Mikeska of Grape Creek, Charles Mikeska of Eola and Joe E. Mikeska of Clyde and several nieces and nephews.  

Pallbearers were Kenneth Elliot and Harold W. Mikeska, both of San Angelo, Billy Goetz and J.C. Sonnenberg, both of Mereta,  Harvey P. Williams of Eola and Coy Edwin Garrett of Arlington.  

Obituary showed Concho County, but no city, probably Paint Rock weekly.
