MRS. A. J. KINNEY

Death of two former Paint Rock Women
    Waco, Texas, December 10- An auto Accident ten miles south of Waco claimed the lives of Mrs. A. J. Kinney, 70 and her daughter Mrs. Roy Westmoreland 52, both of Mexia. Mrs. Kinney was instantly killed and Mrs. Westmoreland died soon after she was taken to a local hospital.
    Otto Gevenda, of Harlingen, Baylor University freshman, who was on the rear seat of the car occupied my Mrs. Kinney and Mrs. Westmoreland, was not seriously hurt.
    The accident occurred on the Temple highway.  Mrs. Kinney and her daughter were enroute to Waco. Their car had passed an inbound bus, when it struck the abutment of the concrete bridge, bounced back and turned over across the highway.
    The bodies of Mrs. Kinney and Mrs. Westmoreland were taken to Mexia for burial. A double funeral will be held at 10 a m Tuesday at the First Baptist church. Mrs. Westmoreland who is survived by her husband, Roy Westmoreland, and three children, Roy Jr., student at the University of Texas; Stacy, student at Baylor, and Ileene Westmoreland, teacher in the Mexia High School., will be buried here. Her mother, who is survived by three sons, will be buried at Oenaville, Bell County, Tuesday afternoon.
    Word of the fatal accident reached here Monday morning about 10:30 and Mr. Westmoreland left at once for Mexia. The Westmoreland family also Mr. Kinney formerly lived here and Mr. Westmoreland at intervals has made home here where he owns a farm adjoining town. The many friend here join the Herald in sympathy.
