THOMAS JEFFERSON FLETCHER
A PROMINENT CONCHO CO. RANCHMAN DIES HERE.
Death of Thomas Jefferson Fletcher, a retired Concho
county ranchman living near Millersview, occurred in San Angelo Wednesday night
at 8 o'clock at a local hospital. he had been ill for some time and his
death was not expected. He is survived by his widow and four sons, all of whom
were with him at the time of his death. Two of the sons, Sloan and Looney, made
their home with their father near Millersview. the other sons are P. L. Fletcher
of Coahoma, Texas and J. M. Fletcher, a contractor in Dallas. Hayden C.
Fletcher who owns the telephone system at Millersview, is a nephew.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at his home
near Millersview, his body having been sent from San Angelo Thursday morning by
the W. E. Newton Undertaking company. Mr. Fletcher was 61 years old.
