ASA B. CARNES

   Asa B. Carnes, aged 61, died at his home in Eden last Friday. J. Pat Carnes and Mrs. W. P. Hammers of De Leon, his brother and sister, attended the funeral held at Eden the following day. Mr. Carnes was one of the pioneer citizens of this section, his grandfather having been one of the first white settlers in Comanche county.
