  ROCK HILL CEMETERY

   Rock Hill cemetery is located in the Reese community near Jackson­ville, Texas.  It is on the north side of US Hwy 175, directly across from the Reese cemetery.  It is very well maintained and is easily accessed.  With marked burials that began in 1902 it is still in use at this time.  This cemetery is used by people of African-American descent, and is associated with the Rock Hill Baptist Church which was organized in 1897.  Most rows are well defined but some contain empty spaces or unmarked graves. The standard row designa­tions apply to this listing, but several of the rows would be best called strips as 2 or 3 sparse rows are included in them.  Row A begins on the East end of the cemetery and starts from South to North.
