PROVIDENCE CEMETERY Section A

Providence Cemetery is located about 5 miles south of Jacksonville, Texas, on FM 347 just out of Dialville.

I am in the process of surveying and taking pictures of each headstone. I will add to this page often. There are many stones that need to be cleaned. If you see a picture of a stone that you would like cleaned or photographed again please let me know. September 2007, Kaye Slover.

There has been a book done for the Cemetery in 2004. It is very good. It list those buried in the cemetery and those thought to be buried there. They have also added full names whenever possible. I would highly recommend this book. Special thanks to Sylvia Acker for allowing me to add the names of those whose stones or unreadable or are missing from her survey done in 2004.
