      SMYRL FAMILY GRAVE INFORMATION 

Information from Ira Gaylon White 

   In May 1997 Bill Slider who lives in Pierces Chapel told me about a couple of graves that he remembers from his childhood that were said to be Smyrl family graves.  They are located to the east of Pierces chapel about a mile toward Gum Creek.  He remembers them as having been covered by bricks but not marked with any identification. The area is only accessible on foot through the woods.
