McCracken Cemetery

McCRACKEN CEMETERY

McCracken cemetery is located near Pleasant Grove (West of Maydelle, Texas) north of Hwy 84 and south of Pleasant Grove. It is on an old road trace to the west of County Road 1804. Harold and Sylvia Acker surveyed this old cemetery in Oct 1991 and described the trek to it as covered with briar patches. The cemetery itself they described as having no tombstones but many rock markers, mostly covered with leaves and debris. They were able to identify the following:
