Coastal Bend Genealogical Society

The Coastal Bend Genealogical Society is a non-profit corporation under the laws of the state of Texas.
No part of the net earnings shall inure to the benefit of any private individual.

    The objectives of this society are as follows:

• Collect and preserve, secure, document, organize, and record the early ancestry of any and all families that the Society or any of the members decide to study.
• Study and encourage development and maintenance of the genealogical files, records and documents in public libraries and depositories.
• Any other project that the Society may desire to undertake when deemed appropriate by the majority vote of the active membership present at a regular or special meeting.
• Stimulate, assist, and instruct all those persons who may be interested in genealogy.
• Actively seek to introduce and generate an interest and understanding of genealogy among those not now familiar with its traditions.
