THE STATE OF TEXAS, COUNTY OF BURNET.
PLEASANT TURNER
vs. JOHN A. LAURAINE
Debt.

To the Sheriff of Burnet County, Greeting: 

Whereas, Pleasant Turner has filed his account against John A. Lauraine, in the court of the undersigned Justice of the Peace, for Precinct No. 1, in said county, for one hundred dollars, and demands  process against the said John A. Lauraine, on said debt; and oath being made by said Turner, that the said Defendant is a transient person; these are therefore to command you to cite the said John A. Lauraine, by publication in the State Gazette, a newspaper published in the city of Austin, county of Travis, for three weeks previous to the return day of this writ, to be and appear to me at my court, to be held at my office in Hamilton, on the first Saturday in December, A. D. 1853, for Precince No. 1, in said county and State, there and then to answer said complaint.  Herein fail not, and have you there and then this writ as the law directs.  Given under my hand this the 1st day of November, A. D. 1853, at my office in Hamilton.

Came to hand the 1st day of November, A. D. 1853, and I hereby order that the above writ be published for three successive weeks in the Texas State Gazette.
