Joseph Key Crawford

Mr. Joseph Key Crawford, 76, passed away Saturday afternoon, December 15, 1973, in a local hospital.  He was born October 18, 1899, in Rice, Texas.  He was a member of the Methodist Church, a member of Valley Lodge No. 175, a member of Al Malaikih Shrine Temple of Los Angeles, and a retired motel operator.

Mr. Crawford is survived by two sisters, Mrs. T. O. Whitaker of Burnet and Mrs. K. K. Greenhouse of Burnet, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 17, 1973 at 10:00 a.m. in the Edgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Auburn Neely and Jess Hall officiating. Interment was in the Burnet Cemetery with Edgar Funeral Directors in charge.

Pallbearers were Jay Jennings, B. Pogue, Paul Taylor, H. M. Farmer, Fowler Faubion, Willard Norris, and Mack Edwards.
