Mrs. C. J. Welch, 45, was buried Monday in the Bandera Cemetery under the direction of Smith's, after the services had been held in the Bandera Baptist Church, with Reverend Bowen, pastor of the church, officiating. She was a native of Center Point, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Z. H. Burleson.

She is survived by her husband, C. J. Welch of Bandera, one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Kokes, Bandera, three sons, Pvt. R. J. Welch, U. S. Army; D. C. Welch, San Antonio and Walter Welch, Bandera, and her father, who lives in Camp Verde. Four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. R. M. Montell of Camp Verde, also survive. Pallbearers were Forest Stevens, Fred Moss, Bob Manisfield, Fabian Anderwald, Mack Joiner and D. E. Conwill.
