"Food for Thought"
 HISTORY!

"To bring together the records of the past and to house them in buildings where they will be preserved for the use of men living in the future, a nation must believe in three things.
  • It must believe in the past.
  • It must believe in the future.
  • It must above all believe in the capacity of its people.
so to learn from the past that they gain in judgment for the creation of the future."
Franklin Delano Roosevelt
President
United States of America
1938 - 1945

ABOUT THE TEXAS  AMERICAN LOCAL HISTORY NETWORK
Mission Statement

We would like to welcome you to the Texas American Local History
       Network, Inc.

Our dream is to furnish you, the researcher, with the historical
and genealogical information to round out your research on
your ancestors. TXALHN will be adding links and data in a
continuous fashion. All contributions are gratefully accepted
and the copyright for that information will continue to reside
with the contributor. There are no "strings" attached to any
contribution, you may take it back at anytime although it is our
hope that you will not do so.

TXALHN is not doing this to compete nor replace any other
historical or genealogical organization, rather this is in addition
       to those worthwhile organizations.
