East Park with the Gansevoort Statue
Col. Peter Gansevoort was commander of the American forces at Ft. Stanwix in 1777. This statue was unveiled in East Park on November 8, 1906. East Park is now known as Gansevoort Park and is located on the corner of N. James & Court Streets.
