This small family cemetery is located on the south side of Eureka Road, about a mile west of the Bartlett/Eureka Road intersection in the town of Westmoreland. The cemetery had been neglected for many years, overgrown with weeds and briars. (see first 3 photos) The top of the large tombstone had been knocked off and was lying on the ground. A concerned neighbor took it upon himself to clean up the grounds and during the summer of 2003, the area was completely restored, the top of the large stone reset, and an older stone uncovered, cleaned, and reset.
