This active cemetery is located on Route 5 in the town of Vernon. It is approximately 3 miles east of the traffic light at the intersection of Route 5 and Route 31 in the village of Vernon. The cemetery is well maintained. There are several stones that were completely illegible, and several others that were partially legible. The oldest stone found was for Anna, a daughter of Benjamin & Anna Carter, who died in 1804.
