Stowell, Gertrude Brown

Camden - Oct. 28 - At 7:30 Tuesday evening, Mrs. Gertrude Brown Stowell died very suddenly at the home of her sister, Mrs. E. A. Kent of Voorhees Avenue. Mrs. Stowell was born in Vienna April 12, 1898. her home was in Williamstown but she had been at her sister's home for the past four weeks and where there weeks ago her baby was born. Besides her husband, E. J. Stowell, she leaves two children, a little son three years of age, and the infant. She is also survived by her mother, and four sisters, Mrs. L. Mott of Altmar, Mrs. Leo Raut of Mohawk, Mrs. Leland Loomis of Vienna, Mrs. Earl Kent of Camden, and three brothers, Van Brown of Syracuse, Orville and David of Vienna. She was a member of the ME Church, and of the Eastern Star Lodge of Vienna. The Rev. A. S. Haven of Newport, her uncle, will officiate at the funeral which will be held from the ME Church at Vienna Saturday afternoon at 8 o'clock. Burial will be made in Vienna.
