Ruth F. Connor, 79, formerly of 208 W. Bloomfield St., died Monday, December 31, 1979, in Little Falls Hospital. She had been a patient at the Van Allen Nursing Home, Little Falls, since August 1979. Born on Aug. 1, 1900 in Rome, she was a daughter of Benjamin and Alice Mansfield Armstrong. Educated in Taberg schools, she was married to Charles B. Connor on Nov. 16, 1935 in Suffern. He died Oct. 15, 1964. Mrs. Connor had been employed as a private duty nurse for several years. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. George (Bessie) McCann, Taberg, Mrs. George (Bertha) Bennett, Alaska, and Mrs. Sam (Alice) O'Dell and Mrs. Edwin (Mabel) Marggi, both of Westmoreland, and a brother, Elmer Armstrong, Lee Center. Services will be held at 10 am Thursday at the Prince & Boyd Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery.
