Camden - Sandra L. Congden, 36, of California Road, died Wednesday January 12, 1994, at her home after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born September 24, 1957 in Oneida, NY, a daughter of John and Nettie Brown Royce. On May 22, 1976, she married Stanley "Buzz" A. Congden in Vienna. She was a 1976 graduate of the Camden High School and had attended the Vienna United Methodist Church.

Surviving besides her husband and parents are three daughters, Crystal, Mina and Carol, all at home, three sisters, Jeannie Zimmerman of Remsen, Mrs. Ronald (Ellen) Turk of Camden, and Mrs. Gary (Donnette) Skellington of Altmar, and three brothers, John D. Royce Jr of Camden, Robert W. Royce of Blossvale, and Timothy S. Royce of Canastota, also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Orville "Buddy' E. Royce on December 15, 1962.

Funeral services will be held Saturday. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
