SYLVAN BEACH--Albert F. Brown Sr., 65, of McClanathan Avenue, a retired employee of Camden Wire Co. Inc., died on Thursday, May 30, 1985, at his home after a long illness.

Mr. Brown was born April 20, 1920, in the Town of Vienna, a son of Orville and Mina McClanathan Brown. He attended Camden Schools. On August 26, 1939, he married Nina Keil in North Bay.

Mr. Brown retired in 1980 as plant supervisor at the Camden Wire Co., where he worked for 39 years. Before joining the Camden firm, he was employed with Oneida Ltd. Silversmiths and Harden Farms.

Mr. Brown served with the Navy during World War II, stationed in America and the Asiatic-Pacific theater. He was a member of the American Legion Sherrill Post and the Vienna United Methodist Church.

Surviving, besides his wife, are four daughters, Mrs. William (Sharon) Condon, Blossvale; Mrs. Donald (Mary) Pitcher and Mrs. Gerald (Denise) Bates, both of McConnellsville, and Mrs. Frederick (Nancy) Frank, Verona Beach; two sons, Albert F. Brown Jr., McConnellsville, and Leslie Brown, Camden; four sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Armstrong, Sylvan Beach, Mrs. Dora Snow, Wildwood, Florida, Mrs. Janet Babcock, Camden and Mrs. Nettie Royce, Blossvale; three brothers, Francis Brown, Oneida, Earl Lee Brown and Donald Brown, both of Blossvale; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday at the Sanborn-McDaniels Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, Camden. Burial in Vienna Cemetery, McConnellsville.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday.
