James W. Bork, 58, of 6124 Sleepy Hollow Road, a Revere Copper and Brass Inc. employee, was pronounced dead on arrival at Rome Hospital Monday, April 22, 1985, after a brief illness. Born June 3, 1926, in Rome, he was the son of Walter J. and Myrtle Mansfield Bork. On March 20, 1954, he married Edith M. Rapke in Rome. He was employed at Revere Copper and Brass Inc. and was a former employee of Oneida National Bank. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church and the Point Rock Fish and Game Club. Surviving with his wife are five daughters, Miss Deborah Lynn Bork, of Rome, Mrs. Henry (Sandra) Rutherford, Flat Rock, NC, Miss Lorraine Bork, Rome, Miss Christine Bork, Rome, Mrs. Allen (Kathleen) Last, Lee Center, a son, Terence Bork, Rome, and two grandchildren. Griffin & Aldridge is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Evergreen.
