Sylvan Beach - Eleanor M. Armstrong, 75, of 2413 McClanathan Ave., died Saturday evening in the Martin Luther Home, Clinton.

She was born July 22, 1918, in Sylvan Beach, the daughter of Orville and Mina McClanathan Brown. She was married to Kenneth Armstrong who died in 1969.

Surviving are two sons, Burton Armstrong Sr., of Sylvan Beach, and Roger Armstrong, of Canastota, a daughter, April Staring of Sylvan Beach, three brothers, Francis Brown and Donald Brown, both of Oneida, and Earl Brown, of Utica, three sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Dora) Snow of Florida, Mrs. John (Nettie) Royce of Vienna, and Mrs. Donald (Janet) Babcock of Camden, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Armstrong was pre-deceased by a son, Caryl Armstrong on March 14, 1990.

Funeral services will be Wednesday. Interment will be in Union Cemetery in West Verona.
