Samuel Christensen, 73, of 25 Kernan Ave., Utica, died Monday in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Center, Utica, after a short illness. He was the father of Mrs. John W. (June) Regan, 709 Liberty Gardens, of Rome. He was born in New Jersey on May 11, 1892, a son of Chris and Fredericka Christensen, and lived in West Branch before moving to Utica several years ago. His wife, the former Hazel Lane, whom he married Aug. 18, 1915, died Jan. 7, 1959. Retired since 1959, he formerly worked for C. A. Durr Packing Corp., and the Utica Box Board Co. Mr. Christensen attended the First Presbyterian Church in Utica. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. John Christensen, Ford, NJ, and a brother, Chris, Nixon, NJ
