Waller, Florence Flagg

Florence Flagg Waller, 92, of 12215 N. 38th Street, Phoenix, AZ, died April 16, 1994 in Phoenix Life Care Center.

She was born March 14, 1902, in Rome, the daughter of Emory and Cecilia Flagg. She was a graduate of St. Aloysius Academy, class of 1919,

On October 26, 1925, she was married to Lawrence Waller in St. Peters Church. He died December 24, 1992. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Phoenix, AZ.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Edward R. Besenfelder, Phoenix, AZ, two sisters, Agnes Irish and Dorothy Finley, both of Rome, NY, four grandchildren, Edward J. Besenfelder of Bakersfield, CA., Lawrence Besenfelder of Scottsdale, AZ, Cathleen McColley and Carol Tueroff, of Phoenix, AZ, five great-grandchildren, a niece and two nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Emerson Flagg.

Interment will be in St. Francis Mausoleum, Phoenix, AZ.


Waller, Lawrence A.

Lawrence A. Waller, 92, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Rome, died December 24, 1992 at a Phoenix hospital after a long illness.

He was born May 1, 1900 in Rome, the son of John R. and Lena Finster Waller. Mr. Waller attended Rome Schools. On October 26, 1925 he married Florence Flagg in Rome.

Mr. Waller was employed by Varflex Corp., retiring in 1966, and was previously self-employed for many years as an automobile painter. He was a member of St. Peters Church in Rome.

He is survived by his wife, of Phoenix, one daughter, Shirley Besenfelder of Phoenix; four grandchildren, Edward J. Besenfelder of Bakersfield, Calif., Lawrence Besenfelder, Cathleen McColley and Carol Tuerff, all of Phoenix, and five great-grandchildren.

Interment was made in St. Francis Mausoleum in Phoenix.


Woodbeck, Mary Crossman

Annsville Notes- Taberg -The funeral services of Mrs. James Woodbeck were held at the M. E. Church Sunday. Services were conducted by Rev. s. Dewey. A large circle of mourning friends and sympathizing neighbors followed her remains to the cemetery. She was a devoted wife, a kind mother, a good neighbor, and will be greatly missed in our village.
