JOHN PHILIP CROWTHER

born in Todmorden, the son of Philip Crowther and Catherine O'Neal. He married Ruth Fielden with whom he had 3 children, and then emigrated to North America leaving his family behind. He made a bigamous marriage in Nebraska and had a further 6 children. He became a Justice of the Peace and a leading citizen of Nemeha City.
