MARY ANN THORPE

Mary was born in Addlington, Lancashire. She married William Dawson, eventually settling in Todmorden. After she was widowed she emigrated to Connecticut in the USA. She travelled from Liverpool to New York in 1905 with 2 of her sons on the Ship 'Celtic' on her way to join another son in Winnimantic, Connecticut.
