"TH' SCAR" AT NEWBRIDGE, WALSDEN ABOUT 1930
This lump of rock stretched from the edge of the main Rochdale Road to the canal. It was demolished along with the old cottages, although part of it can still be seen in the car park of Gordon Rigg's Garden Centre.
