MR. T.W. EASTWOOD, TODMORDEN SOLICITOR AND CLERK TO THE LOCAL BOARD

He was instrumental in Todmorden leaving the auspices of Lancashire and becoming part of the West Riding of Yorkshire in 1888 when County Councils were first set up, and also for Todmorden gaining its charter to become a Borough in 1896.
