and State of Tennessee on the deviding(sic) ridge between the waters of Cedar
Lick Creek and Spencers Creek beginning at a cedar and red oak on the south
boundary line of a hundred acres granted Samuel ELLIT thence north one
hundred sixty poles to a stake thence West Eighty seven poles to a
mulbury(sic) & sassafras and dogwood thence South Eighty three poles to two
cedars thence east twenty nine poles to a cedar and white oak thence south
seventy seven poles to cedars thence east fifty poles to the beginning...."
