Doughty to Gill Deed

I LORENZO DOUGHTY have this day bargained and sold and do hereby
transfer and convey to WILLIAM B. GILL and his heirs for the
consideration of the sum of fifty eight dollars and fifty cents
to me paid all my right title and interest in a tract of land
bounded as follows Beginning at the said DOUGHTY's beginning
corner, thence south 38 poles with the said GILL's line to a
sugartree, thence 47 1/2 poles to a white walnut, thence west 34
poles to the beginning, containing 4 acres, 3 roods and 21 poles,
to be same more or less to have and to hold all these unto belonging
belonging to the said WILLIAM B. GILL that I am lawfully seized of
said land, have a good right or title to convey. I do further
convenant to him, myself my heirs and representatives to warrant
and forever defend the title to said land and every part thereof
belonging against all lawful claims whatever to the said WILLIAM B.
GILL, his heirs and assigns this the 27th day of November, 1849.

State of Tennessee, Wilson County} Personally appeared before me
Josiah L. McClain Clerk of the County of said county of Wilson,
Lorenzo Doughty the within named bargainer with whom I am personally
acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed the within deed
for the purposes therein contained. Witness my hand at office this
28th day of June, 1852.
