Whereas John Everett late of the county of Wilson, state of Tennessee, ____ _____ and prosper of about five hundred and thirty six acres of land. Situated and lying in Wilson county on the waters of Big Cedar Lick Creek in the first district . At his death made his last will and testament which has been proved and recorded in state county above left this following heirs and legates to wit Edward Freeman and his wife Charlotte, Joel Everett, James Curd and his wife Susan H., Thomas E. Everett and Eliza L. Everett. who are all the heirs after the death of the widow of said _______ and we the said heirs have made partition of said land assessing ________ which is a little different from the provisions of the will. A lot containing one hundred and thirty seven acres has been laid off to the said Joel D. Everett which includes a part of said land or portions of said land that was ____ of to the said Joel D. Everett in the decision of the said heirs. T___ tract the said lot of one hundred and thirty seven acres with value at three dollars per acre therefor inconsideration of the premises at the of three dollars per acre aforesaid with said Edward Freeman and his wife Charlotte, James Curd and his wife Susan H. , Thomas E. Everett and Eliza L. Everett do hereby transfer and convey to the said Joel D. Everett his heirs and assigns forever all the right title claims and interest that we have to wit to the one hundred and thirty seven acres of said land . land offered as his portion of said land and the said one hundred and thirty seven acres is bounded as follows. Beginning at the northeast corner of Edward Freeman's land at an Ironwood in Thomas E. Everett's south boundary line. There with said line running east one hundred and fifty seven poles to a cedar. Edward Sweatt's north east corner, of the Hugh Hessy tract of land west with said line one hundred and fifty seven poles to a stake in said line north boundary line there north one hundred sixty poles to the beginning to have to hold to the said Joel D. Everett and his heirs and assigns. We covenant unto the said Joel D. Everett all have agreed right to convey our interest in said land and _____ warrant our title to interest against the lawful claims of all person whatever this 19th March 1853.
